Ouleimancy: divination by the appearance of scars.

There is a scar on my thumb. & when people ask how it happened I tell them that memory & love are both in flux. To love someone without interruption you have to manipulate the chronological order of the things that happen, so that you are always falling in love for the first time. 

How it feels:  
  1. You broke my heart. 
  2. My thumb burned. 
  3. You fell in love with me. 
  4. A scar appeared.
  5. I wanted to make nachos. 
  6. You fell in love with someone else.
  7. Apparently, alcohol slows reaction time.
  8. My thumb touched the frying pan. 
  9. I got drunk.
  10. I fell in love with you.

How it really happened:

  3. You fell in love with someone else.
