cover ingredients: sea green book board, coral colored thread, and gilded crosses. inside: ripped-out hymns & prayers. my poems sing the songs of the missing pages. they are sewn in between blank sheets to encourage new forms of worship.

it begins: blank canvas boards. bird paper. yellow inside for good luck. hand-cut blank pages. hemp thread pulled through beeswax. some sewing. a break. a knot. a borrowed button. beads from a broken necklace bought at an oakland psychic shop. they were blessed for love.
